In our data-driven world, relationships between various entities are often the key to unlocking valuable insights. Graph data, with its ability to represent and navigate intricate connections, plays a vital role in analyzing and harnessing these relationships. This brief session, “Unraveling the Web of Relationships: Understanding Graph Data,” will introduce you to the fundamentals of graph data and its significance in diverse domains.
I am a Database Engineer at ChannelAdvisor, a leading e-commerce platform provider, with over 20 years of experience in relational database modeling, data analysis, coding, and administration. I have multiple certifications in artificial intelligence, ethical AI, and generative AI, which reflect my passion for learning new technologies and applying them to solve complex problems.
As part of my role, I support and enhance the Azure SQL driven infrastructure, working with diverse and collaborative teams to architect solutions, write and review T-SQL code, and find innovative automated solutions for manual activities. I use tools such as Powershell, GIT, and Azure DevOps on a daily basis, and I create tooling around workflows using SMO and ScriptDOM. I also enjoy documenting and creating guidelines for complex software, using sketch noting as a personal way of taking notes. Additionally, I am a connector, a relationship builder, a collaborator, and a community leader, who co-leads the TriPASS SQL Server user group and the Data Platform Women in Tech virtual group. My mission is to mentor people, coordinate projects, mediate conflicts, and help find middle ground.
