In this session we will see different ways of applying conditional formatting to a Power BI reports at data level and visual level.
The session will cover the following details:
Data Level Conditional Formatting
• Explore default conditional formatting options on data in Power BI:
a. Background Color
b. Font Color
c. Data Bars
d. Icons
• Using a calculated measure to create conditional formatting
• Use custom icons for conditional formatting
Visual Level Conditional Formatting
• Conditional titles on the visuals based on the Slicer Selection
• Conditional Background color to the visuals using a measure calculation

Currently, she is working as a Senior Data Analyst at Trustpilot in UK and works towards generating and delivering data insights to various customers. She holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics from Royal Holloway University of London.
She is skilled in various tools and technologies like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Azure ML Studio, Azure databricks Pyspark and SQL.
She has been using Power BI for few years now and started participating on Power BI Community from last few months where she is one of the community Superusers.
Outside work she enjoys photography, loves hiking, she is a trained Indian classical singer and has a passion for painting.
