Azure constantly grows and more and more Azure SQL Database options are popping up left and right but what do they do and why do we need them?
In this session we take a look at all the available Azure SQL databases going from standard Azure SQL database to the more recent Azure SQL Hyperscale database. Where do they shine and where do they stumble.

Wout Vangoidsenhoven is a Microsoft Data Platform & Business Intelligence Consultant at Ordina Belgium. He discovered the magical world of (big) data after finishing college just 2 years ago. Nowadays he mostly works with the SQL Server BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
Next to that he recently took an interest in Azure (Eventhubs, SQL DW, DataFactory) and the benefits and innovations it can bring to organizations.
