The Global AI Back Together is a free event organized worldwide on 19-20-21 of October 2021 by local communities passionate about artificial intelligence on Microsoft Azure.

We are happy to announce the “Back Together” event will be in person, and we already thank U2U for opening up their training rooms for all of you.

Program:

18:00 – 18:30 – Open for Walk-In + Drinks & Bites

18:30 – 20:30
Room 1 – Workshop – Train and deploy a PyTorch model using the Azure Machine Learning platform. (Henk Boelman)

Room 2 – Workshop – The Azure Function that can see (Nico Jacobs)

20:30 – 21:00 – Networking and drinks

But expect an exciting evening with the possibility to choose between 2 different workshops.

Speakers

Nico Jacobs

SQL Server, BI and AI trainer at U2U

Dr. Nico Jacobs is a Microsoft Business Intelligence and SQL Server trainer and consultant at U2U since 2004. Before that, he was a machine learning researcher at the computer science department of the University of Leuven where he obtained a PhD in machine learning.
At U2U, Nico creates and delivers courses on the SQL Server business intelligence stack (Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services …), Power BI, Azure AI, machine learning and Big Data and the traditional relational database environment (database development and administration).

Henk Boelman

Cloud Advocate at Microsoft

Henk is a Cloud Advocate specializing in Artificial intelligence and Azure with a background in application development. He is currently part of the regional cloud advocate team in the Netherlands. Before joining Microsoft, he was a Microsoft AI MVP and worked as a software developer and architect building lots of AI powered platforms on Azure.

He loves to share his knowledge about topics such as DevOps, Azure and Artificial Intelligence by providing training courses and he is a regular speaker at user groups and international conferences.
